Jack & Lenore’s Story

 Our story began in 1970, when we married and moved into a small three bedroom home in Huntington Beach, California. Jack worked for a bank that regularly hosted visiting bankers from other countries who came to learn about the American banking system. One weekend, he invited a young banker from Japan, someone he especially enjoyed working with, to come stay in our home and experience everyday American family life.
That simple invitation marked the beginning of a lifelong love of opening our home to others, something we have always understood as a gift from God.
Our home was never officially a bed and breakfast. It was simply a place with a guest room, an open door, and a steady stream of old and new friends from around the world.
More than forty years later, that same heart remains at the center of everything we do, both in business and in life. We are grateful to open our vacation homes to you and to greet you with warm, genuine Southern hospitality, just as we've always done. Welcome to our Homes Away From Home.
